General Description

The carbon exhaust heat shield with our unique design for the Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade 2017 integrates perfectly into the overall appearance of the motorcycle. Since the Honda already comes from the factory with a very high-quality and slim titanium silencer, the idea was to enhance its appearance simply by replacing the standard heat protector sheet. The feather-light component is made from a special, heat-resistant prepreg material and gives the exhaust silencer an even sportier touch.

This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating vastly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically, but it also significantly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
