General Description

The carbon cover under the frame left side L/S for the Ducati Monster 1200, 1200 S, and 1200 R is manufactured in an autoclave from prepreg carbon, as is standard for Ilmberger Carbonparts. The focus is on weight saving (typically approximately 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased stiffness.The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences.This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
