Monster 1200, 1200S, model year 2017-
General description
The carbon chainguard on the swingarm for the Ducati Supersport 939 with ABE is delivered with a gloss painted surface and thus perfectly integrates into the overall appearance of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as usual, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only excels technically, it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
