The chainguard for the swingarm with a gloss carbon finish for the Ducati Panigale 1299 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The main focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating's advantages are not just technical; it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
