The chainguard in our unique design for the Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade 2017 blends perfectly into the overall appearance of the motorcycle. The chainguard protects the rim and rear fairing from excessive dirt. The chainguard can also be fitted separately with the original splash protector.This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. However, the coating not only impresses technically but also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
