General description

Even though Ducati is breaking new ground in the segment of off-road capable motorcycles, brake disc protection is essential for any classic Enduro. The brake disc chain guard (glossy finish) for the Ducati Multistrada Enduro (from model year 2016 onwards) is attached below the swingarm at standard mounting points. The required screws are included in the scope of delivery. Even though Ducati is breaking new ground in the segment of off-road capable motorcycles, brake disc protection is essential for any classic Enduro. Thanks to the high stability of the carbon cover, it offers effective protection for the rear brake disc and the sensitive ABS sensor ring against stone chips and clogging with dirt (and can, under certain circumstances, prevent a sensor malfunction resulting from this). Our complex manufacturing process has allowed the weight of the cover to be kept exceptionally low, thus avoiding any negative influence on the vehicle's performance. Naturally, the cover can also be ordered in a matte finish instead of the glossy surface. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines, and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in its protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
