The carbon belt cover under the swingarm for the Buell 1125 R/CR replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses conventional clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
