Ilmberger Carbon Belly Pan - extension, glossy carbon, with ABE according to usage list, for BMW M1000RR, type SM99, model year 2023-General description
The typical long Ilmberger engine spoiler made of high-quality autoclave carbon is a must for the M1000RR. Thanks to special resin and integrated heat protection, the engine spoiler lies within a few millimetres of the presilencer. The fairing looks more complete and the original exhaust more discreet. The racing look comes with ABE for the street
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric specially produced for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, laminated by elaborate manual work and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only convinces with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. With the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of influences from the environment, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this ensures an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
To ensure that not only riding but also wrenching is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
The facts:
