General Description

The beak, or upper mudguard, for the Ducati Multistrada DVT (from model year 2015), matte finish, replaces the original plastic component. Especially on the aggressive front of the Multistrada series, the carbon part particularly highlights the sporty character of the motorcycle. The beak is designed as a single piece, and the lower finish is also achieved by means of a special, additional carbon part included in the scope of delivery. All mountings for mounting the head light are present on the Ilmberger beak. Only standard mounting hardware is used, and as is customary for Ilmberger, only standard mounting and screw points are utilised. The matte finish perfectly matches the original Ducati Performance carbon parts, which are also supplied in a matte finish. These are already installed ex works on many Multistradas. Naturally, the cover can also be ordered in a glossy carbon finish, which then contrasts with the original Ducati Performance accessory carbon parts. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
