The front upper fender for the BMW R1200GS (LC) Adventure from 2014 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
