The carbon battery compartment cover for the Streetfighter V2 with a glossy finish replaces the original part using the original mounting points.
To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid into the mould and aligned. This way, the carbon part perfectly nestles into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more impressive the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, intricately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in the autoclave, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. For the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this creates an unparalleled and unique depth effect, which truly highlights the high quality of the material.
So that not only riding but also working on the bike is a pleasure, we only use the original mounting points for this part.
