The splash protector on the carbon licence plate holder for the BMW S1000XR replaces the original component using the original mounting points. This component can be used with both our licence plate holder NHO.007.S10XR.K and the original licence plate holder. Alongside its great appearance, the focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, was subsequently covered with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
