Ilmberger Carbon Alternator Cover, Carbon for BMW S1000RR Stock Sport/Racing (from model year 2010-)General Description
The carbon alternator cover for the BMW S1000RR Stock Sport/Racing (2010-current) is partly screwed on with the alternator cover screws and additionally glued with a small dot on the alternator cover at the front. This product complements the vehicle and provides additional protection for the vehicle against damage. The parts are mounted using supplied adhesive strips and/or the use of original mounting points. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from Prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, then coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
