The alternator cover for the Honda CB 1000 R enhances the vehicle and provides additional protection for the vehicle against damage. The parts are mounted using supplied adhesive strips and/or the use of original mounting points. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically, but it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
