The air outlet trim on the radiator for the BMW R 1300 GS from Ilmberger Carbon gives your motorcycle a unique look and makes it stand out from the crowd.This innovative BDC material is used here, giving the component a completely new and individual touch. The surface of each BDC part is unique, reminiscent of marble. BDC is also laminated by hand at Ilmberger and cured in several stages in an autoclave. The material impresses not only with its exciting appearance but also with its technical properties. The various fibres scatter the incoming light, creating an unprecedented reflection.
The final clear coat layer on this component is in the timeless glossy version, emphasising the luxurious sporty look of the component.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from influences of all kinds from the environment, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
