General description

The right carbon air outlet fairing with our unique design for the Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade 2017 integrates perfectly into the overall appearance of the motorcycle. Especially when directly next to the painted side fairing panel, the original, matte plastic air outlet fairing does not appear particularly high-quality. The Ilmberger Carbon air outlet fairing gives the Blade the right look even in this very striking area and also provides increased structural stability through the use of high-strength carbon fibres. Of course, the air outlet fairing can also be mounted without the right frame cover, available from Ilmberger Carbon under item number RAR.015.CBR17.K.

This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
