The air outlet fairing (left side L/S) on the side panel for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 DVT (from model year 2015 onwards) serves as a carrier for the painted original side fairing part and visually completes the side view of the motorcycle. Due to the high strength of the material compared to the standard plastic carrier, there is also increased stability of the components. Especially at the transition to the frame, the carbon part truly stands out visually. The carbon part is delivered in a matt finish and therefore perfectly matches the original Ducati Performance carbon parts, which also have a matt finish. As usual, installation takes place at standard mounting points. The mounting material is taken from the series components. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, was then coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
