The carbon air intake on the fairing upper part in a glossy finish for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), SC82, from 2020- replaces the original component using the original mounting points.Key benefits include weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was completely manufactured from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only offers technical advantages, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
