General Description
Upper air intake duct suitable for BMW S 1000 RR from model year 2019 and BMW M 1000 RROur carbon part replaces the original component using the original mounting points.
The focus is on weight reduction (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses conventional clear lacquer coatings in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
