The carbon air intake duct fairing for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight reduction (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically; it also significantly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
