General description

The left intake fairing for the Ducati Diavel V4 is one of the special showpieces on the motorcycle. It replaces several parts in one and in the most visible area. As is customary for Ilmberger, the entire duct is made of carbon.
The final clear coat layer comes in the matte version and is identical to the clear coat used on Ducati Performance parts.

For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, painstakingly laminated by hand and hardened in several stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. At the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this creates an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

To ensure that not only riding but also wrenching is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
