General description

The left intake fairing for the Ducati Diavel V4 is one of the outstanding highlights on the motorcycle. It replaces several parts in one and is in the best visible area. As is typical for Ilmberger, the entire duct is made of carbon.
The final clear coat comes in the timeless glossy version and underlines the sporty appearance of the motorcycle!

For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with a unique look but also with its unique technical properties. With the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear coat, ensures an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

So that not only riding, but also wrenching is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
