General description

The right intake fairing for the Ducati Diavel V4 is one of the particularly exquisite pieces on the motorcycle. It replaces several parts in one, and it's in the best visible area. As is customary with Ilmberger, the entire duct is made of carbon.
The final clear coat comes in the matte version and is identical to the clear coat used on Ducati Performance parts

For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately hand-laminated and baked in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, simultaneously, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all types of environmental influences, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides a hitherto unmatched and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material.

So that not only riding but also working on the bike is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
