The carbon air duct for the BMW M 1000 RR 2023 replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary with us, then covered with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
