The upper chainguard in carbon for the Aprilia RSV 4 (2009-present) / Tuono V4 (2011-present) replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
