The carbon ignition lock cover for the Ducati 1129 Panigale is delivered with a glossy finish. The carbon ignition lock cover for the Ducati 1299 Panigale replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The main advantages are weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses conventional clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
