General description

Our carbon handguards for the BMW R 1250 GS offer significantly increased protection against cold and rainwater. Thanks to a cleverly chosen design, the handguards do not appear significantly larger than the original part and integrate excellently into the overall look of the R 1250 GS. The carbon handguards for the BMW R 1250 GS replace the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity.

The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating doesn't just score technically; it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
