The known problem: the transmission shaft protrudes too far from the transmission, causing it to flex elastically during hard or fast shifting. The result: gears are not engaged cleanly.The Gilles Shiftholder helps to overcome these shifting difficulties by providing additional stabilisation for the shaft. A needle roller bearing is used for the shaft's mounting, and the shiftholder is hard-anodised in titanium colour. Original motorcycle screws are used for mounting. A sprocket cover is also included in the delivery.
