Product details
Ilmberger Carbon fuel tank upper cover for BMW R1250GS Adventure (from model year model year 2019 onwards), with ABE according to the usage listGeneral description
The upper fuel tank cover for the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure from model year model year 2019 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish far exceeds the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
