Ilmberger Carbon Flap / Water Cooler Cover left side L/S, Carbon for BMW R1250GS Adventure (from model year 2019 onwards), with ABE according to application listGeneral Description
The left flap/water cooler cover for the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure from model year 2019 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only excels technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
