Right fairing winglet - BMW M 1000 RR from model year 2020-This carbon part replaces the original component using the original mounting points.
The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as usual, then coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms conventional clear lacquer coatings in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
