General Description

The carbon (gloss) exhaust heat shield for the Ducati Multistrada Enduro (from model year 2016) precisely replaces the original stamped metal part. Not only is the enormous weight saving paramount here, but it is especially the completely new look that makes the standard exhaust system appear like a genuine racing system – without, of course, changing the standard sound! The gloss finish, in particular, highlights the effect of the three-dimensional carbon structure. To effectively protect the carbon part against the heat of the exhaust system, we use special high-temperature pre-preg (see FAQ) to prevent discolouration and yellowing. As is customary for us, the parts are mounted using original mounting mounting points. Naturally, the cover can also be ordered in a matt carbon finish, perfectly complementing the original Ducati Performance accessory carbon parts. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines, and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
