The air duct right side R/S for the original stainless steel water cooler cover of the BMW R 1250 GS from model year 2019 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically savings of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity.The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and in the next step, to protect against environmental influences, coated with a clear plastic coating. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in its protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but it also significantly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
