BMC - Sports Air Filter (2 filters) forKawasaki ZX12R Type: ZXT20A (Model year 2000-06)
General Description
BMC replacement sports air filters are high-performance filters, offering higher airflow than conventional air filter and thus positively impacting the engine's combustion process. They can be easily swapped for the original air filter, are regenerable and therefore have an almost lifelong durability.
The BMC sports air filters are made from a multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in a low-viscosity oil. The filter fabric is reinforced by an aluminium mesh, which is protected from gas vapours and oxidation by an epoxy coating. Impurities are filtered from the air, absorbed by the cotton fibres, and trapped by the filter oil.
As a result, the power, performance of the filter remains constant for a long time.
BMC sports air filters are manufactured using a special process called "Full Moulding". This process makes it possible to produce the distinctive red filter in a single piece. The material used is very durable and, thanks to its flexibility, adapts to any shape of air filter boxes.
Key features of the sports air filter:
- Improved engine performance
- Optimal throttle response
- Extended service life
- Reduced fuel consumption
