General Description
BMC replacement sport air filters are high-performance filters, offering higher airflow than conventional air filter, which positively impacts the engine's combustion process.They can easily be replaced with the original air filter, are washable and therefore last almost indefinitely.
BMC sport air filters are manufactured from a multi-layered cotton fabric soaked in a low-viscosity oil. The filter fabric is reinforced by an aluminium mesh, protected from gas vapours and oxidation by epoxy paint. Contaminants are filtered from the air, absorbed by the cotton fibres, and bound by the filter oil.
This ensures the filter's power, performance remains constant for a long time.
BMC sport air filters are produced using a special process called 'Full Molding'. This process allows the distinct red filter to be manufactured in one piece. The material used is highly durable and, thanks to its flexibility, adapts to any shape of air filter boxes.
