BMC Racing Air Filter for Yamaha T-Max 530 (from model year 2017-)General Description
The BMC motorcycle Race air filter differs from the standard BMC sports air filter by offering an even higher airflow (up to 60%) without negatively affecting the filtering performance. It can be identified by a yellow stripe on the filter surface. It is recommended to use the BMC Race Air Filter for motorsport applications only. The race filter requires more frequent cleaning, and for most motorcycles, a new adjustment of the fuel mixture is necessary. This can be achieved either through an auxiliary control unit, such as a Power Commander, a new mapping, or larger carburettor jets for the carburetor.
