BMC - Racing-air filter for Triumph Daytona 660, model year 2024-General description
The BMC motorcycle Race air filter differs from the standard BMC sports air filter by an even higher air flow (up to 60%) without negatively affecting the filtering performance. It can be recognised by a yellow stripe on the filter surface. It is recommended to use the BMC Race air filter only for motorsport. The Race filter must be cleaned more frequently, and for most motorcycles, a new adjustment of the mixture preparation is required. This is achieved either through an auxiliary control unit, such as a Power Commander, a new mapping, or larger jetting of the carburetor.
