General Description
BMC replacement performance air filters are high-performance filters that offer a higher airflow than conventional air filter, thereby positively influencing the engine's combustion process.They can simply be swapped for the original air filter, are washable and therefore have an almost lifelong durability.
BMC performance air filters are made from a multi-layered cotton gauze, soaked in a low-viscosity oil. The filter material is reinforced by an epoxy-coated aluminium mesh, protecting it from gas fumes and oxidation. Contaminants are filtered from the air, captured by the cotton fibres, and bound by the filter oil.
This ensures the filter's power, performance remains constant for a long time.
BMC performance air filters are manufactured using a special 'Full Moulding' process. This method allows the distinctive red filter to be produced in a single piece. The material used is highly durable and its flexibility allows it to adapt to any shape of air filter boxes.
