General description

BMC replacement performance air filters are high-performance filters, offering higher airflow than conventional air filter and thereby positively influencing the engine's combustion process.
They can simply be replaced with the original air filter, are washable/reusable, and therefore last almost a lifetime.

BMC performance air filters are made from a multi-layered cotton gauze material impregnated with a low-viscosity oil. The filter material is reinforced by an aluminium mesh, which is protected against gas fumes and oxidation by means of an epoxy coating. Contaminants are filtered from the air, absorbed by the cotton fibres, and trapped by the filter oil.

This ensures the filter's power, performance remains constant for a long time.

BMC performance air filters are manufactured using a special process called "Full Moulding". This process allows the distinctive red filter to be manufactured in a single piece. The material used is very durable and adapts to any shape of air filter boxes thanks to its flexibility.
