General Description

XXZ Mono shock absorbers – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXZ shock absorber can be easily adapted even when installed.

The development of this rear culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium casing – an important point to fine-tune the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to further align the XXZ with racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The aim is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tire wear. It offers maximum confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect rear wheel stability, even during the hardest braking.

Innovation also reigns inside the rear. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatures are improved.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertial forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating spring movements. Special attention was also paid to improving and simplifying the adjustment options, which are now all located in the upper part of the rear.
