General description

The Off-Road shock absorber CYU is gas-pressurised, with a separating piston for oil/nitrogen in the fixed balance tank. It features a Ø16 mm piston rod – specially coated for the lowest friction coefficient – with low-friction bushing. The lower and upper mountings, made from an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, are precisely CNC machined.
The balance tank is separated from the housing to allow for better positioning on the vehicle and to optimise hydraulic oil cooling. They are connected by a flexible, steel-braided hose. The setting of the spring preload is hydraulic and can be adjusted both manually and by a 14 mm HH screw. The shock absorber improves feedback from the bike and increases grip and comfort.
