General description

XXT Mono shock absorbere – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to the versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber is easy to adjust even when installed.

The development of this damper culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium housing – an important point for tuning the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up was developed to orient the XXT even more towards racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload adjustment was also installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid direction changes, as well as uniform tireabnutzung. It offers maximum confidence when accelerating on all streetnbelägen and perfect stability of the rear wheeles, even during the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the damper. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatureen are improved.
By using a 14 mm diameter pistonstange, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces the uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertia forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating springbewegungen.
