General Description

XXT Mono shock absorbers – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber is easy to adapt even when installed.

The development of this rear culminates in an overall weight reduction through the use of an aluminium casing – a crucial point to adapt the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new setup has been developed to further align the XXT with racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulic spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as uniform tire wear. It offers utmost confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect rear wheel stability, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also reigns inside the rear. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatures are improved.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separator piston reduces the uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertial forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
