General Description

XXT Mono shock absorber – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to the versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber can be easily adapted even when installed.

The development of this shock absorber culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium housing – an important point to fine-tune handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new setup has been developed to further orient the XXT towards racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tire wear. It offers maximum confidence during acceleration on all street surfaces and perfect stability of the rear wheel, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the shock absorber. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperature are improved.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separator piston reduces the uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertia forces and thus enable immediate control of the oscillating spring movements.
