General Description

XXT Mono shock absorbers – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber can be easily adapted even when installed.

The development of this damper culminates in an overall weight reduction through the use of an aluminium casing – a crucial point for tailoring the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new setup has been developed to further orient the XXT towards racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulic spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as uniform tire wear. It offers maximum confidence during acceleration on all street surfaces and perfect rear wheel stability, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the damper. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperature are improved.
By using a 14 mm diameter piston rod, sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled hydraulic oil movements. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertia forces, thus enabling immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
