BITUBO stereo shock absorbers rear, spring preload and rebound adjustable, chrome springs, with ABE; for Triumph Thruxton 900, type 986ME (model year 2004-2007)General description
Nitrogen-filled single-tube gas-pressure shock absorbers with floating pistons for improved riding comfort and vehicle control. The rebound adjustment range achieves excellent performance in all riding situations, both solo and fully loaded. The damper body is made from high-strength steel, the head parts are CNC-machined from billet aluminium.Adjustment options:
- spring preload - stepless, via adjustment ring
- Rebound - stepless, via adjustment lever
Each pair of shock absorbers comes with a Basic setting tailored to the respective model.
Available with chrome head and foot with chrome spring or with black head and foot with black spring. Also available with chrome head and foot and black spring (discontinued models).
Additionally, chrome caps can be purchased in the following variants:
- Chrome cap set (2 pairs = 2 uppers and 2 lower chrome caps): Part no. BI-GR9601
- Chrome caps top (2 pieces): Part no. BI-GR9603
- Black chrome caps top (2 pieces, black chrome-plated): Part no. BI-GR9604
- Chrome cap set (2 pairs = 2 uppers and 2 lower chrome caps) black chrome-plated: Part no. BI-GR9605
