General Description

XXT Mono shock absorbere – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber is easy to adjust even when installed.

The development of this shock absorber culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium body – an important point for tailoring the handling to the rider's needs. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to further focus the XXT on racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even in extreme lean angles or during quick changes of direction, as well as even tire wear. It offers maximum confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect stability of the rear wheel, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also reigns inside the shock absorber. Technically new solutions improve the damping coefficient and stability at high temperature.
By using a 14 mm diameter piston rod, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction of inertial forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
