General Description

XXT Mono shock absorbers – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to the versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber can be easily adjusted even when installed.

The development of this shock absorber culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium body – an important point for tuning the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to further focus the XXT on racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulic spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even in extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as uniform tire wear. It offers great confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect stability of the rear wheel, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the shock absorber. Technically new solutions improve the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatures.
By using a 14 mm diameter piston rod, sliding performance is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertia forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
