General description

XXT mono shock absorbers – direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber is easy to adjust even when installed.

The development of this shock absorber culminates in an overall weight reduction through the use of an aluminium body – an important point to tailor the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to further focus the XXT on racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulic spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The aim is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as uniform tire wear. It offers maximum confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect rear wheel stability, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the shock absorber. With new technical solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatures are improved.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separator piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertial forces, thus enabling immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
