General Description

XXZ mono shock absorber – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXZ shock absorber can be easily adjusted even when installed. The development of this shock culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium body – an important point for tuning the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to focus the XXZ even more on racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload adjustment has also been installed. The aim is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tireabnutzung. It offers maximum confidence when accelerating on all streetnbelägen and perfect stability of the rear wheeles, even under the hardest braking. Innovation also prevails inside the damper. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatureen are improved. By using a pistonstange with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertia forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating springbewegungen. Special attention was also paid to improving and simplifying the adjustment options, which are now all located in the upperen part of the damper.
